Hey astopals,
I have purchased a LX 200 10" here off astromart it is in transit. I have never owned one like this. Is there software that will run the telescope from my computer/laptop? I also have a starlight MX-7 camera I will be operating from the laptop from time to time.

Sonya, welcome to the LX-200 world! 8)
There are many software packages out there that are great and will control the LX200.
You can try Cartes Du Ciel, which is a nice Star Chart program, and it is FREE! wink

You are going to need a special serial cable to hook up the scope to the laptop...
