What is the maximum width of the LXD 55 saddle? Is it 1.8" or 1.6"? thanks in advance, Vince

If the saddle is the grove where the OTA dovetail fits, then I would have measured at 1.75". It might be 1.8", but my ruler didn't have those marks. If that's not the saddle, then tell me where else to measure - I have one in my garage right now, but it isn't mine, so I don't really "know" this mount.

Let's see...mine measures 49mm (1.93") at the base and 44mm (1.77") at the top. The saddle has two sides, one is flat (set screw side), and one is a tapered/wedge shape to lock in the dovetail plate. See attached photo, which I credit to its unknown creator (thanks).
