I went up to an observing sessiong last night, and a club member had an LXD55 10" goto meade scope. That thing is INCREDIBLE. Im thinking about selling my LX-6 8" to get money for that scope, it is only $995 + $95 shipping which is insane for a 10" scope of any kind with goto.

How steady was it? That 10" OTA looks like it would need a beefier mount to be fairly shake free when focusing, for example. How did the GOTO perform? How good were the optics?
Just curious 'cause I've been tempted by that set up also.
