My new Astro Sky is ready for star testing!

I just heard from James at Astro Sky and he said star testing will be done tonight and the scope will be packed and shipped tomorrow! Wow, I can hardly wait to hear how it does! 8O
I am attaching a picture of the scope that he sent to me so you can see the resuslts of my waiting.
I think it looks great, how about you? 8)

Floyd,

I was an early customer of James Grigar. He built me a beautiful pier and I had the first Eliminator tripod. I believe some of my pics are still on his website. He does beautiful work and is a conscientious and all around nice guy as well. I'll bet you will be very happy.

Looks great, Floyd.
I'm sure you will find a few ways to improve it though, eh?

Floyd,

It looks great! I'm expecting my astro-sky scope soon also. James was working on several scopes including ours at the same time. Reading your post isn't making my wait any easier. Good luck, and keep us posted.

Peter

... you're getting me lusting for one too now. Looks great!
Whats the current lead time for one of those these days?

Floyd,

Is this the one that will house your 10" CZ mirror? If so, I'm jealous! I have a 12.5" f/5.9 CZ in my closet, waiting for me to build a scope, but I'm recovering from a torn achilles tendon....can't maneuver around the shop in crutches.

But I'm out of the cast later this week and plan to have it built before the Mars opposition.

Clear skies,

Tim Iafolla
