Just picked up a nice example on the 'Mart.
I noticed that the end of the chrome barrel that screws into the black anodized housing does not sit flush with the lower part of the housing; there is a small "step" there.
Is it supposed to be like that? Should it be able to be screwed in further, so that there is no step, and the top of the chrome barrel sits flush with the bottom of the housing?
Thanks! :S

I'm not sure if this will answer your question as to whether the exposed chrome lip is meant to be there, but it's there on my T2/20 Nagler too. Until you declared your angst about it I've never given it a thought, but I would suspect it's there on all of them.

John,
That is a real problem you've got there.
In order to alleviate your suffering,
I will take the defective Nagler off
your hands, for no charge whatsoever. wink
Just trying to help. It's the least I can do.
