Vixen Flip Mirror IN-FOCUS "problem"

Hello all! 8)

I just got one of these Vixen Flip Mirror diagonals, thinking about being able to use my eyepieces and my CCD camera, so that I can make sure of object framing and such.

When I use it on my WO 80mm ED refractor, I cannot get enough IN-FOCUS for the CCD camera, and would like to know if there is a way to either get a shorter end for the diagonal (supposedly it is a 42mm T-ring threaded tube), or an adapter, or get this darn thing cut down! 8)

And no, I won't cut the refractor tube! 8)

Here is a pic of the end that I would like at least cut down in half (or shorter)... wink

Thanks for your attention,

Those are standard "T" thread and I use one about 25mm long with my CCD camera or none with the filter wheel attached. These T ring extension tubes are not hard to find at most of the dealers selling imaging stuff. They also show up from time to time here on the "Mart". Edmund and others sell a shorter one that will take 1.25" eyepieces or T thread devices.
