Tak LE eyepiece caps

Hi,

Does anyone know for a fact (notice the fact) where and what size of caps fit the Tak LE's. I'm NOT talking about the bottom 1.25" Barrel cap, but the TOP cap? I asked OPT to send me the top and bottom caps but they only sent the 1.25" Barrel caps.

As far as I know (not a Tak expert) there is no such thing
as an official Tak LE top cap. I found that snap lids
from poly jugs at the grocery store (milk, water, etc)
were a perfect fit, so thats what I use.

41MM eyepiece caps caps from Orion Telescope are just slightly too large and the 38mm are too small.

I found that a thin piece of duct tape wrapped inside the lip of the 41mm cap worked perfectly and looked like any other eyepiece cap.

You will find many that look familiar - Televue and others have used their products.

I only own the 50mm Tak LE and walked it over (they are located down the road from me) to find the right fit. I would measure the top and then call them for assistance.
