TeleVue Plossl Eye Relief

I am considering a couple of old "smooth side" TeleVue Plossls: 26mm and 32mm. Eye relief is a concern for me as I observe with glasses. The gentleman who has them states that the 26mm has 23mm of eye relief and the 32mm has 29mm of eye relief. I've tried to confirm this, but can't find any specs. Does anybody know if these numbers would be right? They're useless to me unless they have at least 20mm of eye relief. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Eric

I have no idea what the measurements for eye relief in mm are for these two eyepieces. I own both of these eyepieces, I have deepset eyes and wear specs, and I have no trouble using either of these eyepieces with glasses on. I think you'll find that they work fine for you.

I think they will probably work for me. I never thought of calling TeleVue to ask. I think I'll do that. Thanks again!

My TV 32mm Plossl works fine with my glasses, with the 26mm i can just about get the whole FOV with my glasses on.

Do these ep's have rubber at the top? I've found this to a must for me for eyeglasses at the eyepiece.

HI ERIC,

I believe that the eye relief
for the TV 32mm Plossl is 22mm.
I have one for 1 1/4" low power.
It is an excellent eyepiece, but
as is typical of Plossls, it has
an APOV of only 50.
