What should it sell for?

I posted a Nagler 9mm Type 1 in the classified on 1/17/2007. Even thought I put a firm price, I haven't even got a nibble. Maybe I'm not checking the correct email. I click on the Message Inbox to the left but no responses. So maybe I'm just a bit optimistic with a price of $190 including shipping insurance and paypal with a 10 day money back. Maybe I misjudged the market and my price is just to close to a used Type 6.

If anyone would care to hazard a guess (or price range) of what a Nagler Type 1 9mm should sell for please let me know, either on the forum or by email. I've searched the internet and can't find comparables for the type 1. I don't want to seem outrageous in price but I'm doing something wrong. I'm feeling pretty ignorant at the moment.

Thanks

The same thing happened to me when I first joined AM.
The responses go to the email address you signed up with not to your message box here at AM.

Floyd would know but my guess is around 150.

I think $190 is high. I agree with others --
maybe $140 - $160.

It is probably in better condition than the photo
leads one to believe. Maybe try to get
a photo without using the flash -- it tends to
exagerate the small marks on the barrel. Even
tiny dust shows up as big white spot. Makes a
negative first impression.

Philips post has been deleted by me, I thought it was less than helpful and almost unintelligible.

I think I did misjudge the market a bit, but not in malice. Thanks for all the good advice. I think most folks gave their fair and honest opinion and I appreciate that. I missed the inappropriate post. I finally missed something worth missing! I'm going to redo the classified to a more reasonable market price and see what happens. I want my baby to find a good home. I also want to start my truss dob. Oh the sacrifices we make!

Hi David

if your Nagler 9 mm would be indeet the Typ 1, I would buy it right out of your box , because they have been sharper then any type later ( am not talking about contrast , here the later one with better coating are better ), but your picture in the add show the Nagler 9 mm Typ II

The Type 1 did not have had any rubber and no eyerubber , see at Tele Vue Website the old Typ I here
