Computer Counter

Sometimes it's the little things that bust your chops the most.
I had been using a nice wooden rolling cart made for kitchen use to hold my imaging laptop in the observatory.
The only problem was that I had to lean over to type or use the mouse. What a pain in the back.
My woodworking mentor wrote three books at a standup lectern that he built, so I followed suit, tossed the cart and built a computer counter that is at a convenient height to use while standing.
Now I'm a happy camper.

Hi Dan,
Excellent idea, always better to have it built in.

Dan, nice woodworking! I am still using a small metal ladder with my Celestron manual on top to achieve the perfect laptop height. Which is fine until we need the ladder for something in the house... I had grand plans of adding shelves everywhere in my observatory this past year which never happened, yet

Regards,
Steve
