I just purchased a slightly used Celestron CG5 ASGT. was wondering what the carring capacity of it is..thinking of mounting a side by side set-up. (Mak & refra.) Might have to jump to an Atlas... thank you.. JM

John, by reading several Forum posts in other boards (since I could NOT find much in Celestron's website about their own mount) it looks like the CG5-ASGT is rated at 30 pounds.

Hope this helps, 8)
