Been cloudy for days but saw it easily through a light haze and moonlight 11/19 but got up early this mornoingg to try to image it with a clear sky and it's gone- couldn't find it in binoculers at all (and scope had all this camera stuff hooked up ). Did it run out of dust?? LOL

I do not know..............here in South Carolina it was disappointing this AM. In 11X80MM binos has a nice head, but a smidgen of a tail. I could not make it out naked eye.

We saw it at ~5:25 am this morning. Very bright in 15x50 binoculars with a short, narrow, bright tail. Not visible by eye, but it was down in the muck a bit. It certainly hasn't vanished.

Comet Lovejoy was visible by eye, and lovely through binoculars. Very well placed high in the east to the right of the Bear's tail.

I just heard that C/2013 V3 Nevski is now bright enough to see in binoculars. Also conveniently placed near Regulus.

Clear skies, Alan
