Can much color be seen on Jupiter with a 6" apo? 7" apo?

Hi,

I use a 6" refractor with a Chromacor II. Last year, 2001-2002, colors were noticeable to me than this year, 2002-2003. This is regarding the NPR, SPR, NEB & SEB. Other belts seemed more subtle.

This past opposition, colors were noticeable in the NPR & SPR. At higher magnifications, 292x-311x, the NEB, SEB and especially the GRS showed colos nicely.
