Hello Everyone,
I am in need of Stargazing music to listen to. Something pieceful while I set and watch the last great abyss move by.
Thanks and Clear Skies,

Justin,
If you have an NPR radio station near your observing site (if it's near a University you do)you may want to see if they carry the HEARTS OF SPACE program. Visit http://www.hos.com/ for information.

I've enjoyed electronic, classical and 20's jazz music while observing for over 23 years. I started listining to the Synergy series at first. This was a electronic version of classical music that may be rare to find today. Pick up some cds by Isao Tomita, Vangelis, or Steve Roach. Amazon is a great place to look. Enjoy the ride. Alan

Justin--Peaceful? Try Music For Airports, vol. 1 or 2, by Brian Eno. Don't be put off by the title or the artist, it's very tranquil. Larry Seguin.

Soundtrack for "The Local Hero." Music by Mark Knopfler (with help from other Dire Straits bandmates as well as Gerry Rafferty).

How can you go wrong with such songs as
"The Ceilidh And The Northern Lights"
"Stargazer"
"Coming Home"
?

Other artists -- among those I favor -- whose music may fit the bill:
Rickie Lee Jones
William Topley &/or The Blessing
Beethoven
Peter Gabriel
Del Amitri
Supertramp
Maria McKee
Chris Rea

Best wishes and peace.
