Folks, I know this is not a computer forum but, I can't seem to find one so here goes.
I am getting ready to replace a video card, that is when it gets here, and my question is do you delete the old video card info, drivers,ECT. prior to removing it or after you have replaced it. I am basically familar with the inside of this computer, that is I know where the card is and how to remove it but any other opions will be welcome.

No need to... just install the new video card with it's own new drivers and you are ready to go...

Clear skies Ken!

Ken, both are correct. WinXP (Win98 isn't terrible either) does a fantastic job of picking the newer drivers. As Ivan said, you can probably just install the new card, newest drivers and be all set.

If you are a computer perfectionist (like me), I prefer to uninstall any relevant drivers and start new with any hardware install.
