Trump delivered a speech Wednesday night at the RNC's Midterm Convention in Dallas, pledging to issue $5,000 dividends if GOP candidates secure majorities in both the House and Senate.

Oh, so now the little leftist tool here is butthurt that I'm taking on his Communist/Socialist buddies on this forum I see.  smile

If you had a pair, I'd simply challenge you to "defend" the lies of your little buddies here, however since your past responses are an indicator of your inability to debate any subject, political or otherwise, I will just assume you are too much of an intellectual lightweight to engage.  Then again, such is the nature of intellectual cowards like yourself.

Having stated the facts above, let me just posit that aside from another pathetic attempt at a drive by insult, and before you wriggle back to the dog crap that sustains maggots like you, would you care to take a shot at answering how Donald Trump's political promise/statement is a "Bribe"?

I doubt you will because like all leftist losers, the best you can muster is to run away and hide under your desk as you invariably do when challenged.

It certainly isn't surprising that your intellectual vacuousness is driving your anger and irritation.

Now you can feel free to wriggle away like a leftist worm.  smile

Wow, you mean to tell me that you were a teacher and are THIS ignorant of the reading of a statute??

No wonder our young people are just so damned stupid after graduating high school.

The dumbest ones must have been your students if this is your interpretation and understanding of that statute.  My only reponse to you is to tell you to quit watching Joy Reid or Al Sharpton over at MSNBC.  They will simply make you dumber than you obviously are.  shocked

P.S.  Did you get your misinterpretation of the statute there from George Conway or some other idiot suffering from TDS?

You have a lot of gall to suggest Jim's post was a "pathetic attempt at a drive by insult".

Rich Davis struts around like the Shakespeare of smack talk, but his insults land with all the force of a damp crouton in a duel of baguettes. He struts around like a rejected Monty Python philosopher—thinks he’s the clever one in the sketch, but he’s actually the backing coconut sound effect. He is the sort of butt sniffer who’d bring a clipboard to the job, file a report on bouquet and texture, and still somehow get it wrong. grin

I've noticed that so much with you leftists, that you just make stuff up.  "

He didn't say anything like that. He said "IF the Republicans win both the house and the Senate, then I will issue a dividend of $5k to every adult American".

So I'll ask again since you failed to answer the question and had to make up what you said.  How is anything that he said REMOTELY similar to a bribe?  The words that you claimed he stated are a flat out lie.

Now then, where did I say that I know everything? I asked a question and challenged the lie that you put forth. I realize that you TDS suffering Socialist Democrats hear what you want to hear 90% of the time, rather than what is said but don't get angry and pissed off because someone challenges you on the lies that come out of your mouth and you can't defend your lies.

Simply put, you sound like a petulant little boy whose Mommy took away his Tonka truck.
Get over it.  You lied.  I called you on your lie and you're ovviously as mad as a hornet.  smile

Your nitpicky arguments that it isn't a bribe ignore the obvious context of how the promise was made. For example, Trump didn't just promise a policy outcome, like a better economy; he explicitly tied the cash payout to an election outcome. This is pay-to-play politics, plain and simple, which is not acceptable. Besides, fulfilling the promise would take around $1.3Tn, which we all know is money Trump does not have available, or, if he did, the authority to apportion. Hence, it clearly looks like nothing more than a desperate attempt to influence (bribe) voters before they head to the polls. You have to ignore a lot to claim that Trump's words do not amount to a political bribe.

Can you imagine the colossal hissy fit this idiot would throw if Biden and/or Obama had offered to pay everyone for a particular election outcome?  We'd all need a huge batch of popcorn for that. LOL

I see that as always, you once again hide under your desk as you do your usual drive by commentary whereby you are too big of an intellectual pussy to answer or engage.

So then are you going to continue to dodge and hide under your desk after your attempt at an insult?

Gee, what a shocker, that you don't have the balls to engage, and instead choose to ignore the very basic question which is this, Where was the bribe that the dumbest of people out there are trying to claim?

Are you just another "extreme fool" since you don't have the intellectual chops to make the legal case?  It certainly appears that you are just that.

So once again nothing new from the clown who purports to be a lawyer.  Its too bad that you are woefully incapable of arguimg the issue, but then why would we all expect anything different from a person who is nothing more than a glorified bookkeeper?smile

If playground insults were legal arguments, you’d be Clarence freaking Darrow.

Indeed. Rich's biases and double standards are completely obvious to everyone but him. What Trump does is only right and fair if Democrats could do the same thing without complaint from Republicans, and we all know that is impossible. There is only one explanation for why Rich can't see this: his undying group loyalty to all things Trump, MAGA, and Republican, and his us-versus-them blinders.
