90mm short tube Orion OTA ?

Would this type of scope make a good low cost piggy back system, and possible refractor for some CCD Imaging?

For imaging, a small APO is great. I use a little 60mm at F4.5 and it's great. The little 66mm APO's will in most cases take much better images than a 90mm achro.
