A Quick M13

Last night I did a quick version of M13 while I was waiting for the Pinwheel to rise higher in the sky. It turned out better than I expected. The image is RGB, 5 minutes each, acquired in Maxim DL and processed in Maxim DL and Photoshop. The scope was the Tak CN-212 in Newt mode on a Losmandy G-11/Gemini. The camera was an SBIG ST2000XM with CFW8 and Astrodon filters.
Cheers,
Tyler

Artistically framed; rich, deep star colors; the glob resolved all the way to the core; the black point set for a natural background.
That's all you can ask for in an image like this. You've arrived, Tyler. I'm sure when you started imaging you saw pictures online or in the magazines, and you said "someday I want to take pictures like that". Well, someday is today.
I'm almost ashamed to ask, is that a bit of coma that I see in the corners? You're running a fast system, aren't you?
My congratulations,

I like that one. I particularly like the fact you've picked up those yellowish stars. Many glob shots look all white. Daniel in Chile is, in my opinion, the world's top glob photographer and his shots show different colours in the globs. There are a lot of yellow stars;

Perhaps that is because these globs are quite old.

Best,

Greg.
