Abell 2151

While I was waiting for another target to rise I looked up at Hercules and thought back to my first glimpse of an Abell Galaxy group through a big dob under dark skies. Here's about 30 minutes of data for Abell galaxy group 2151. Mostly 3 min subs taken with IDAS light pollution filter @ F4 thru a 120ST Achro manually guided with Stellacam II thru a 80ED @ F22.5. Stacked in nebulosity. This grouping lies outside the Virgo supercluster (500-700 million light years) Galaxies down to mag 17 are visible. The achromat gives fat stars if I'm not shooting H-alpha....but nonetheless I'm still having lots of fun.
