Backyard Image M51

I tried to image from my backyard with normal in-city light pollution and magnitude 4.5-5 skies. The results are not bad, not as good as a dark sky site. This will help me get out and image more often since it is a lot easier to setup in my back yard versus a remote dark sky site.

Who needs dark skies if you can get images like that? Holy Cow! That is a beauty!

Sweet image Sam! I am surprised that you were able to gom so deep with the light pollution that you mentioned. Nicely done.
