As I mentioned in my "West of the cone" message I use a 180mm Nikon lens but usually don't like that wide of a field image. But the California Nebula fits the lens/camera combination nicely.

My turn, Cal. Great shots. Both of these images have amazing detail. What are you shooting with? I've tried a couple of wide field with camera lenses, but haven't licked the scope/lens alignment yet. (Any collimation hints?)
Again, beautiful work.
