Last night...

After a long period of lousy weather, last night finally opened up for a bit. And even though we knew that The Moon was gonna come out and cut our imaging night short, we still decided to drag our equipment out to our nearest Dark Site (about an hour away) and try our luck...

I found 3 other people at this site, and we sure had some good fun... (actually glad to find them there, as this site is a bit SPOOKY while alone)(alligators are normally seen floating around the canal 25-50 feet away from our scopes!)

Here are a couple of shots from last night... hope you'll enjoy them as much as I did! 8)

Clear skies to all of you!

A work in progress, as The Moon came out and the dark sky got washed away, so we packed for the night, cutting the shot short... (also found my lenses fogged while packing!) 8O

Hi Ivan!

Looks like you had a busy night! Great shots! I especially like Andromeda. You get a feel for how big our neighbor actually is in the sky.

What were you using as a mount?

Ivan,

Nice to see some great shots from the Starshoot/WO66SD combo!

Nice Work!

Glad you got some clear skies; I haven't been able to clock any time since October.......

Sigh!

Hi Ivan,

Fantastic sets of pictures you got there! That was quite a productive evening you had! Even more impressive is that these are short, alt-az images! Looks like the imaging bug's got you! smile
