Make sure you click on the photo to see the full size and res, it makes a difference. ;^)
I have found that I was having some problems with my monitor, which made it difficult to figure out what was real color or how dark it really was, so I did some changes and am reprocessing some files.
This is one where there was too much noise in the background, so I have eliminated that and got the color right, I hope.
How does it look to you?

Nice job Floyd. I didn't catch any earlier version so can't comment on that part.

Hey Floyd,

Your color looks good and overall it's a good looking image.
On my monitor it looks like you might have been a little too aggressive with the noise removal,to the point of eliminating all the faint background stuff.

Leaving a bit of the noise makes for a more natural looking image imo.

Nice image Floyd!
For some reason I believe there is more data than what your image shows... maybe you should look at your levels/curves... try to bring out more of the cluster. (I'll play with it in Photoshop, to see what comes out... stay tuned)

That is a very pleasing looking image, but I also wonder if there is more stuff hidden in the background. How did you chose the color balance? If anything it looks a bit blue for what I think a globular would be. I have had mixed results using just RGB, but I haven't tried it in a while and I hope my processing is getting better with time, so maybe it is time I re-explore that.
