M44 Mosaic

I had taken this image on an evening of poor seeing in early February - so I stuck to wide field objects. I have attached a mid sized
thumbnail. A full size image can be seen at:

The scope was my Megrez II at f/2.6 and the camera was my ToUcam SC3. Exposure and

I just love these shots Jim, as the brighter stars give it a 3D effect!
I have not seen many shots done with an SC3, but sure looks like a very promising instrument if the mods are done properly...

Really beautiful. Those stars are brilliant. I've avoided open cluster, but you give me inspiration. Now, if I could just capture and process colors like that...

Nice, Jim. I thought the Megrez II was an APO. Is the CA due to the very short focal ratio used?
