It has been quite some time since I've posted any images as I've been working on tuning my G11 to perform better at longer focal lengths. Progress has been very slow due to weather and other responsibilities but I'm getting close. This is a test image I took back in mid June with my old C8 at 1220mm and f/6.1.

Now if I only could have a few more nights of good seeing so that I can finish tuning! :-)

LRGB image with a total of 2.5 hours
RGB each at 20 minutes
and L at 85 minutes

Eric,
Nice Ring Nebula image.

I would like to hear what you are doing on your G11 - and get your feedback on whats working. I have not been real impressed with my G11 at longer focal lengths.

Very nice Eric. The G-11 appears to be doing well, but I have lots better luck with mine at shorter focal lengths.
Cheers,

hi Eric,

very nice result! the outgoing spray-like parts of the h-alpha on the edges of the nebula can clearly be spotted!
