Well, last night was too good to not go out, so I went to a local site, Wind Wolves Preserve.
I decided to try my hand at Narrow Band on the Eastern Veil.
HA = 8x15 subs 120 min
O-III = 8x15 subs 120 min
I combined these in CS2 and created a synthetic green layer, to try to get more of a true color image.

Attached is a smaller version of this in jpg.
Hope you like it. grin

It's beautiful Floyd, a finely etched masterpiece! I think it's your best image yet...

Beautiful! 8)
Indeed, I concur with Rod, this is your finest shot so far...

OK, time to frame it, and keep going! wink (and keep'em coming!)

Hi Floyd,

Whoa! Fantastic! Spectacular image! I was completely fooled! I thought it was an LRGB! Great job!

Very nice. The gradual arc reminds me of the west coastline all the way up past Wash. Red White and Blue...very patriotic. The West Coast Nebula!!!

Alright Floyd! Great stuff grin

INow that I know that can be done with these results, I'll shoot OIII before SII (as I've done this time with my M16) sO I can start playing around with the data before I collect all the SII!

Thanks for posting it.

Luca

PS the original size really looks great man!

Looks great Floyd.

You picked up some good detail and even got some color in the stars smile
