Hello all,
I was suprised by a clear night over the weekend,I have not seen many for the last month.
It was 2:30 am by the time I was ready to actually take images so this is just 8,10 minute subs of Luminance only of the Pacman nebula.

This was second light for me with my STL 11000m.My first did not go well and I ended up up with three hours worth of useless subs of M17.

Taken with the STL at prime focus of my Vixen VC200L on a G-11 mount.
This is the full frame reduced to 35%

I really like this combo, hope my weather improves so I can use it more!

Thanks for looking, your comments are always welcomed.

Jason

That's a great start, Jason.
It looks a bit dark on my monitor. You could stretch it to reveal more of the low end, I believe.
How did the Vixen handle the weight of the STL?

Jason,

Pretty cool for a luminance! As Dan mentioned, it might be able to take a bit more stretching to reveal more of the dim nebulosity, but it's a great luminance nonetheless! How do you like your VC200L? I'll admit I'm beginning to want one wink

Sweet shot Jason! It looks great on my monitor, but mine is always a little brighter than the average (I think).
Congrats on the new camera.
Cheers,
Tyler

Hi Jason,
Nice set up and nice shot. I like the more stretched version on my monitor.
