Rain Rain Go Away

I feel like it's been raining for six months straight. I haven't been able to get out and photograph the sky for quite some time. I have been using the time to improve my processing skills. Here is a reprocessed M42.

Its about 12 minutes of data in 30s subs with the 30D through a WO 80 ED-II mounted on a GM-8. The noise is a little bothersome, but i guess there really isn't a lot of data there. Stacked with Deepsky Stacker and processed in Photoshop CS3.

Thanks for looking!

That looks pretty nice Kerry! 8)
Next time, try to get longer exposures... (you might need to get a special control cable for this though, as the regular USB cable has a limitation of 30secs)

Thanks for sharing, and keep it up! wink
