Raw focus with a C14?

Hi,
I am using a ST-2000XM with a Maxfield 0.33x reducer on a C14. I've been trying to achieve a raw focus with this set up for some nights to no avail... I just can't get anything on my computer screen. I am very frustrated; can someone advise me?
Thanks!

Try using an eyepiece (perhaps not seated all the way in) to get close to focus, and then switch to the camera. You should be able to see some sign of a star in the image. Also, make sure that you are not using a diagonal as that might preclude reaching focus with the reducer.

I agree with Stuart that you may not be able to reach focus with the fast reducer, but it should be easy to determine by using an eyepiece.

Good Luck!!
