Hi guys,

today sunspot 11029 was truly magnificent in hi-res!
I was lucky enough to catch it quite early before the seeing deteriorated and so I went for full aperture and long focal, i.e. 180mm and 5000mm.

I believe it came out pretty good and I hope you guys enjoy it 8)
This is 100% size although I had to sacrifice a little quality to meet the size requirements.

Ciao
Luca

Luca, great shot! Details look 3D and flowing. Congradulations on catching the seeing at just the right time. Thanks for sharing that beauty

Steve

And this is the white light version:

Baader Herschel prism and 5x Powermate for a focal length of approx. 6300mm: wear your sunglasses 8)

That is CRAZY good!! Wow!!

Nothing but wind and clouds here since 11029 appeared. **sigh**
