The sun seems to be definitely awake...for now. If you have a solar scope now is the time to remove the webs and pointing it at the sun!

Shot with my Solar Spectrum and TEC180 at 5000mm focal length. At times the seeing was good.

Ciao guys

Luca,

MAGNIFICENT!

I think it has been close to a year since I did any solar imaging because I prefer to image disk features and sunspots. You have inspired me to try some imaging this weekend.

You have captured one of my favorite features - a spot pair showing strong magnetic fields arching between the spots. WONDERFUL!

We can only hope this is a sign the Sun is beginning to awaken after its longer than usual sleep.

Thanks for sharing.

Clear, sunny skies.

Luca,

Sweet!! Was wondering if you were still around. Maybe the Sun is going to wake up.

It is a rare event to be able to reap the advantage from a large aperture in solar imaging... this is one of those times. A truly remarkable image Luca... and great to see you back imaging again.

best wishes,
Alan
