Jupiter and Io, July 4th

Here is tonight's Jupiter along with Io and I believe Europa, though difficult to see, is directly in front of the planet. This was acquired at 01:30 UT and Jupiter was only about 33 degrees altitude.

C9.25 @ F30
Lumenera LU075
20 fps
stacked best 900 of 2000 frames
seeing: 4-5/10

Eric,

What a nice image!! I see it didn't take you long to get a handle on that Lum camera! Bring on Mars!!

Thanks to all for your response.

Robert: The gain was at about 40%.

Paolo: The Astronomik type II filters have built-in IR block. I used them for both this image and for Mars a few days back. My guess is color shift due to low altitude as both were acquired low (Mars at 28 degrees).
