Venus Transit from Maryland

When I set up at my house the sky was clear. Of course it got cloudy 15 minutes before the start. I threw everything in my car and headed 20 miles south were I got this shot. It was taken with a Lunt 60mm Ha and a Imaging Source camera.

Absolutely cool!

What I find really interesting is the subtle ring around the planet. Light bending due to its atmosphere?
