Colorful Beetle

While at Utah Lake with my youngest daughter, we stumbled across this beetle in the bark of a tree. I switched from bird mode into macro mode and broke out the 200mm Micro Nikkor. This bettle proved to be quite colorful.... my daughters think it looks like it is covered with Christmas lights.
