Hi all. I decided to try my 200mm Micro Nikkor with TC-201 teleconverter tonight. I don't know why I never thought of this before. The teleconverter makes everything manual, but it works pretty well. Here are a couple of images of a small spider (<1/4 inch) that I found tonight. This one is full frame, but reduced from 3008x2000 pixels to 800x532.

.. and here is a crop reduced to 1/4 original resolution.
I think this combo works pretty well, but I should have put it on a tripod to keep me from wavering all over the place. It's a miracle that I even got one in focus while handholding the dang lens!
