From September. Tried a new shade plant this year - "tricyrtis", a.k.a. Toad Lily. Interesting little plant, about one foot tall, with single arching branches, with the blooms in clusters at each leaf axil. It took so long to bloom I thought it was going to be a dud. Then all of a sudden in late September it was covered with these little flowers, each about 1" across. Very cool!

Sweet the coming on
Of grateful evening mild; then silent night
With this her solemn bird and this fair moon,
And these the gems of heaven, her starry train.
