I suppose that those of you who live in foggy places are familiar with this scene. It was my first "fogbow." Has anyone seen a moonbow in the fog?
This was about an hour after sunrise.

Nice shot, John.
I saw a vivid moonbow back in 2002 on the big island of Hawaii.
There wasn't really fog involved...just moisture in the air.
We were on the saddle of the island, driving down from the Mauna Kea visitor center.
We had just completed their astronomy program and it was midnight or later.
I was still shooting slide film back then, so I'd need to fire up the slide scanner.
There's about a million other slides needing to be scanned.
I ought to get to work.

Okay, John.
I finally fired up the scanner.
Two trays of slides from Hawaii have become digitized.
Among them is my moonbow on Mauna Kea.
