A girl and her (homemade) scope

Browsing through stuff and found some pics and thought I would share. This scope started out as a bet and became a member of the family. He is a great little planet-hunter and kids love him!

After much back and forth over it my plan of attack is....

Build a sonotube 8" dob because budget is very tight right now. Then I am going to save up to build a 12" truss. I found a pic of me polishing a mirror a while back.
