Reading an interesting article in Astronomy Magazine, (Vol 36, Issue 12) December 2008, titled 'Astroimaging over ancient Greece' written/submitted by Anthony Ayiomamitis. I noted that the author listed an Astro-Physics f/12.5 Maksutov-Cassegrain Reflector in his inventory of equipment. Is the Astro-Physics f/12.5 Maksutov-Cassegrain in production now? The Astro-Physics website has this scope still listed as 'Prototype' so would Anthony Ayiomamitis scope be one out for field testing before full production? Also, has a price been set for this scope?
