I got another hour of exposure of this glaxy last night. Great seeing allowed the recording of some very faint pinpoints of light in the range of Mag 21 and Mag 22. Take a look.

Rolando,

Quite impressive. What subs did you use?

Anthony.

Just think. The Quasar light you recorded has been traveling for just over 10.1 billion years.

Clear skies, Alan

To record an object of 22 mag with a small telescope (on earth for pete's sake) defies all superlatives that I know. A new one should be created in your honor.

I don't know anything about imaging, so I have a question. How do you figure out the magnitude, redshift, and nature (glob, quasar, etc.) of the identified points in the image?
