Hi all,
I have been looking for a simple "plug and play" GPS which would connect to the AP1200 CP3 system to feed it with accurate coordinates and time/date.
The searches I've done only provided information on systems which seems complicated and not user friendly at all.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Francois
FYI, I have a very easy GPS system which work great with my G11 (very "transparent" to the user)

To my Knowledge I don't think no one makes such a device. Last you don't need it. Just give the mount the local time and your local coordinates and your good enough. I have used my 900 goto, Mach 1 goto and my 1200 goto CP3 I use my local time and GPS for Phx Az I can go 100 miles north, South, East or West from my location and I use my home as the current location. The mount really only needs the local timn to point accurately. I take it that you are using the mount as a German Equitorial and not Alt Az. You do not need to give the mount its exact location to the nearest tenth of an inch for the mount to do its job.

Enter your GPS co-ordinate data into the AP1200 keypad once. It saves the location internally. You can enter multiple locations if you view from different sites that are widely seperated.

Enter the time once. The keypad will keep it up to date until the battery discharges (about 10 years).

No need for an external GPS that I can see.
