Friday I received my replacement structure for my 10" scope from Astro Sky. This is the new version for the 10" f/6 that I helped to bring about.
The scope is very well built, with excellent fit and finish. The craftsmanship is well above average. I am very pleased with it and I found the improvements we discussed have all been implemented and work nicely.
This scope is very improved over the first generation f/6 scope that I received last August. It is on par or better with any scope I have seen that was not 2x the cost or more.
It is not ready to use yet as I have to put the optics in and install the custom 4 vane curved spider that I had made by Destiny 1800. When it is ready I will do a full review.
I must say that the scope looks better than I would have expected for the cost. It is as nice as others that I had considered purchasing. I am now quite happy that I made the purchase.
