They are a bit out of my budget...

Do they come with an Orion ladder? 8O
I would have settled for an 18 inch truss with no go-to and excellent optics...

What do I think? I'll take the 50...and a dome to put it in. Now, if only I had a couple of hundred K lyin' around I wasn't using...LOL

I saw those! My first thought was that since I live in an Air Force flight path, I'd need to put red lights on the eyepiece end to avoid jet wash! **GRIN!!**

I agree with Uncle Rod, if I only had a couple hundred grand sitting around doing nothing....**sigh**

I do wonder if, especially the 50", will have a similar fate as the Coulter 29.

Way too expensive, better deals are out there. Though not too many available in these large sizes.

Big Dobs are like grandchildren and swimming pools - great to visit, but not to care for!!! Hopefully someone will have a 50" at the next star party I attend! Wonder who is making these huge mirrors and how good they are(?)

A nice 28" Starstructure makes a lot more sense to me.

Time will tell if any of these actually get made. If so, I'd certainly love to see one under dark skies.

Mmm, I'll take one of each.
Better wait until they hit the Astromart classifieds, though. 8)

Says they can be outfitted with Argo-Navis and Servocat...

I figure I would want a big roll off on a concrete pad, and one of these
