Guys,
does anybody know where I can find the "plans" for a Alt-Az mount, that I can use for a Celestron CR-6 refractor ?
I want too build one. I have surched around AM, and I am unable to find the info, for my DIY project. This OTA with extras can have some real weight. So I need a strong ruggid set-up.

Thanks Bill

Bill,

Richard Berry's book, "How to build your own Telescope" (I'm not 100% sure of the title, has plans for one that holds an F #15 6" refractor. The refractor has a wooden tube and the mount is made from mainly wood with a few pipe parts. I might just be what you want.

If you can't find a copy, drop me a line and I'll mail you a set of the plans.

Good Luck

Scott
