Hi All, heard this essay on NPR today:

I think it captures the essense and spirit of why we call ourselves amateur astronomers!

So true... Ivan. 8)
We become one with Nature, we feel truly "ALIVE" when we are at a dark site, with no signs of civilization around us...
It is a beautiful thing, that (sadly) few have experienced...
