I have set classified notifications to digest mode, but I get a digest email exactly every half hour, and many are empty.  I don't want to get an email until there are more (say 10) new ads.....

I'll confess that I'm probably just lazy to try to learn the new format, and rather prejudiced vs Facebookish sites, which this now feels like. As long as I can see the Class Ads, I'm fine. But disappointed that older Ads (sold and not) and older Forum images have disappeared. On other sites (not talking CN here) archives are still readily/rapidly searchable, even from over ten years ago, including high-res images.  Tom

I think you may have touched on the issue Tom.....though it wasn't me that called ya lazy

I just did a search for "APM" of the refractor section and it found 5 pages worth of ads (25 per page) dating as far back as 2001 so the older ads are still there. The ones with images start in 2004, which as I recall seems on par with the old software. That's quite a bit more than 10 years worth.

It sounds like you may be using the search routine on the header of a category which is limited to the last 90 to 180 days. (I miss the option for the last year there as well but I suspect we can request that be added back in and I intend to) Check the options in the left hand column of the site and choose the global "Search Classifieds" command. Leave everything blank except the search term and choose a category, you will find the that it displays every ad placed with "APM" in it just like the old software.

 I have my pet peeves as well regarding the changes but most of them have either been addressed or have been added to the list of changes to make by the programmers. The one exception I greatly miss that I suspect wont be returning is the threaded display in the forums. I find I miss that a lot......

I know I’m the one that suggested the sharing concept, but I meant it so that each classified would be shaded the same way, top part (essentials) shaded, bottom part (non essentials) not.  That way all essential material was shaded the same way.  I find the current version of every other classified being shaded distracting.  I think you should go back to none at all.

FWIW, I still cannot access AMart without doing a Password Reset!
I've tried deleting Cookies, Changing my Password, etc. but Every Single Time I try and logon, I have to do a Password Rest to get into AMart.
This is becoming ridiculous. 
Willing to try suggestions but short of creating a completely 'new' user account, I'm stumped.

Was in the binoviewer forum this morning and found that I'm unable to get the list to show only FOR SALE that does not include sold items.  I click the button NOT TO INCLUDE SOLD ITEMS yet it resets itself when i click the search.  Still very useable, more a nuisance thing, but then quality is in the details.

Thanks for getting these things fixed.

Can you no longer unmark ad as sold? I have had to take back a couple returns lately and want to have the listing reactivated after the items are fixed.

The cost for a new ad won't kill me but I am wondering if this was done on purpose or was an oversight. Thanks!

Hi,

I noticed the "Mark as not Sold" option is now available. I should note that I saw this option available when looking at *someone else's profile*. I didn't dare click on the link as that could mess up that person's ad. I thought I should point that out. Hopefully the site will only mark the ad when the actual owner of the ad clicks on that link and not for anyone else!
