The rail gun has been in development for a number of years now. And it doesn't spew out that rotten egg smell either 8O

Nice gun. But we might want to re-read Greg Bear's "The Forge of God" before getting too cocky too soon. His book is a beautifully written wake up call that suffiently advanced alien planet killing techniques can be positively bowel-loosening in their potential and virtually impossible to defend against.

Not that I wouldn't like to get my hands on a concealed-carry 128 Megajoule rail gun... Just for fun. In the mean time, I'd settle for a Samaritan.

Navy make have great weapons, but if liberals are still around in 2025 I bet they will not be allowed to use 'em!
