Well, I was really going for Sharpless 41, but Barnard's dark nebulas are too prominent in this image to call it Sharpless 41. The Luminance channel was made from H-Alpha and visible spectrum exposures (mostly H-Alpha). Oh, and the Sharpless is there but more as an amorphous red hue than anything else. Full image is at:

Hi Jim,

Very nice work as always! Not only do I love these dark nebulae but I have a problem with my southern sky (light pollution from a highway a few km away) which makes them even more precious.

Keep'em coming.

Anthony.

[COLOR="Purple"]Nice Jim!
It's amazing how utterly without stars some DN can be.

Jim,

I really like this image. The dark nebula remind me of prehistoric petroglyphs...dancing indigenous people. Beautifully done.

Very nice image Jim. I always enjoy seeing what you come up with... interesting targets and always getting the best from your gear. Nicely done.
Cheers,
Tyler
