Here is the Cocoon Nebula taken September 26.

It is a (L+Ha),(Ha+R),G,B image. 2.5 Hr. Ha (30 minute subs). 55 min. LRGB with the L binned 1x1 and the rest 2x2.

I appreciate any comments or critique!

p.s. this jpeg is also much less saturated looking when I view it on line, as opposed to when I open the compressed, posted image in Photoshop. Why is that? I am not comparing the jpeg to the original 16 bit image by the way. I would think the compressed images would look the same, whichever program opens them, but they really don't. :S

Jim,
This is a really cool image. Great job.

The image looks well saturated online to me (but of course I don't have the original to compare). Be sure you are viewing them at the same pixel resolution on your screen - I think I may have seen differences at different screen resolutions on other images in the past.

Nice image Jim! The detail is beautiful.

The most likely reason for the color saturation difference is the color space you are using in Photoshop. If you have selected a color space like Adobe RGB in Phtooshop, you will find a big change when posting the image online, which uses the sRGB color space. Perhaps you can change Photoshop to work in the sRGB color space when you are planning to post the image online. The reason for other color spaces, like Adobe RGB, is that they have a wider gamut of colors, and thus allow for better results when printing etc. I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Tyler
