A miracle occurred last night.... the sky was clear and steady, and I got invited to go to a star party in Utah's West Desert. grin The site had great dark skies and was just perfect for imaging. I spent the whole night imaging the Cone Nebula, and here is the result. The image is LRGB 55:25:25:25 minutes, with 5-minute subexposures. The luminance data was unbinned and the RGB was binned 2x2. The data was aquired using Maxim DL and processed in Maxim and Photoshop CS. Comments and suggestions are always appreciated.
Cheers,
Tyler

Very nice Tyller...I love photos of this region...now, I'm no color processing expert, but it looks like you might want to bring the saturation levels down a bit in all colors....
I adjusted the saturation level on your jpeg file just a little...here's the results.
Nicely done none the less..
Thanks,
Don Spencer
